know that Mrs Murphy is my mother and her 3 sisters combined
and the Spirit of love in Big Sid the Butcher is my dad,
i did not want to put him in the book
but afterwards I realised that Big Sid was my dad
I don’t miss him, because he is in me
though 24 years ago when I got the news of his death, I howled and whelped like a dog for a full hour
