It was taken after I was burgled

They got my hifi

and stole a fiver from my trouser pocket

because I had a downstairs bathroom

they got 5 quid from my trousers too

after the burglary I went to shop for milk

only to discover quid missing

The chair has history

a broken back barn chair

I used it as a table to apply for a compute job

so in 1978 I applied for one computer job

my Oxford uni brother suggested it

I stayed 21 years, and saved like crazy to get the house

the same chair I sat on with a typewriter

 perched on a red topped stool

and typed manually my first book

Then my dad in 1996 had a massive heart attack

my nephew was born, his birthday next week

HE is now a Dr, one day a MR please God

then my mother died

8 weeks later my dad all but died

he was given a week to live, and would not be resusitated

That's where Padre Pio comes in

He saved my dad

My dad got extra time

and I got a wife and family

as I do not know how I'd would have

been if my dad had died then
