This is the dead watch that never stops

This is the time spent but never over

This is the clock ticking down to death

This is the alarm to waken us but is ignored

These are the minutes saved to postpone the grave

These are the years that observe our hair grow white

These are the precious moments stolen but loved so much

This is the time made to make love

These are the children made because we made time to make love

This is the laughter as children run around spending all our money

This is the love gained from the children as they love you

This is the ticking clock which is our life

This is the clock slowing as our life ebbs and flows

This is the clock stopped for just a moment when your other half dies

This is the lonely ticking echoing and all alone

This is the sound of silence, as you the clock stop

There is no more ticking, just the silence of the grave

I'm boring you all with Politics lately but there will be no more Love

Various thoughts as Tinnitus overwhelms me

My dad said here in Smethwick where he was in 1944 onwards

The pubs did not close for 2 days

He gor drunk, everybody did

He was 23 in 1944

He would have gone to USA

but he had already bought his ticket to England

Aunty Mary in Chicago had sent his money

Meanwhile my mom's brother was in

the Air Force I think it was in the Far East

My Uncle Danny he survived

and was on a troop ship home

and decided it would be a waste of his time

2 years to get demobbed or something

he jumped ship and went on the run to Belfast

and got to Boston Mass

not as pretty as Cromane Lower Killorglin Kerry Ireland

but nice enough

Uncle Danny always loved the heat

and took me to the Solarium and Baths by the nudist beach

He and lots of old men sat naked soaking up the sun

in the solarium

Danny worked for Amtrak in the station

and his son also Dan became a Boston City Cop

and he and my dad were more like brothers

just as Me and my dad were like brothers

more that Father and Son

And I have a far east connection now myself

I'm just guessing who is reading me in HK if its you say hello

time to wash and shave. I have a BT in the morning

So as my head simmers and sweat drips down my face

I'm finally up after spending a day in bed hiding from Tinnitus

buy expensive sheets to make your Tinnitus time more bearable

I do need a bigger screen mobile as my eyes hurt and go cross eyed

when using a phone to read the news or amuse and bemuse a1

but will anybody send me a Samsung Fold 7 in blue with a cover

so I can work undercover literally nagging ai from my bed of nails

Not likely but I was once called 1 in a Million by my Chinese Uncle

so if it happened once it can happen again

though the odds now are 1 in a Billion

The energy require fight Tinnitus is more than a work out

Its a Tsunami trying to wash you away

A dance on a Volcano

The earth itself making you quake

Not just poetic words

But sheer fear

So when you read me saying Tinnitus attack

imagine 20 people kicking your head in

Or a maul in a rugby match and I am the ball
