heads up for tomorrow I'll try and write Helen and Troy , it's funny in my head

heads up for tomorrow I'll try and write Helen and Troy , it's funny in my head

assuming I can get past tinnitus

non stop full on for days

I literally do not know how I survive it

PEACE is the word tonight

I had my 3/4 monthly hair cut so I look like Leon the assassin

or sancho panza, you decide

all that glitters is not gold

and I'm still sending daily emails to Moscow

in an attempt to change the course of History

and copying in various people so YOU may have got one too

20 nations a day are reading me recently

171 all told over time

Thanks for folks praying for my health

daily screams of arthritis pain

but at least I'm avoiding Dialysis so far

quality of life, not quantity

And yes Trump still is insane

and when oh when will GOP stop him

But they have sold their soul

Little House on the Prairie values

have turned into a whore house

that's the view from over here

and while millions die for nothing in Putins war

he uses a golden toilet and flushes away souls

Pennies from Heaven, its up to you my Readers

Friars delighted by generous start to funding appeal

Avocations surge for the English Dominicans has inspired hundreds of generous gifts from donors across the world in support of the formation of the next generation of friars.

With 8 new men accepted to join the English Dominican noviciate in September 2025, an appeal was made two weeks ago in support of the St Dominic’s Formation Fund, to assist with the costs of forming friars for mission.

Results to Date

As well as hundreds of individual donations, an amazing 80 people have so far pledged monthly support by standing order or card, providing essential ongoing income for this area of need.

Donations and pledges to date amount to £36,000, taking us 60% of the way to this year’s target of £60,000 in new donations.

As well as donors from the UK, we have been delighted to receive support from Argentina, Australia, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland, USA and Vietnam!

This generous support helps ensure that the friars can cover the c. £12,000 cost for each new recruit to undertake the noviciate year, and will also assist in future years with the £19,000 per friar per year that it costs for the seven further years of formation and study that each friar will be required to undertake.
